Information Collected

In order to access certain services and areas (the “Restricted Services”) within this Site (the “Site”), PurCo requires that you provide certain identifying information (the “Registration Data”) listed in the online registration form.  This information may include your name, PurCo, address, telephone number(s), e-mail address, and password.  PurCo reserves the right to request any additional information necessary to establish and maintain your account.

PurCo automatically collects and/or tracks (1) [the home server domain names, e-mail addresses, type of client computer, and type of Web browser of visitors to PurCo’s Site], (2) the e-mail addresses of visitors that communicate with PurCo via e-mail, (3) information knowingly provided by the visitor in online registration forms, and (4) [aggregate/user-specific] information on which pages visitors access.

PurCo does not place Internet cookies on visitors’ hard drives.  Internet cookies save [the visitor’s name, password, and the pages of PurCo’s Site viewed by the visitor].  When the visitor revisits PurCo’s Site, PurCo [will/will not] recognize the visitor by the Internet cookie and customize the visitor’s experience accordingly.  Internet cookies are stored on the visitor’s hard drive and are not stored, in any form, by PurCo.  Visitors may decline the Internet cookie by using the appropriate feature of their Web client software, if available.

Confidentiality

Registration Data is the property of PurCo.  PurCo will not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your Registration Data to any third party. PurCo maintains a secured area on the Site for transmission of Registration Data.

Uses of Registration Data

Personal data collected by PurCo will be used by PurCo for [editorial and feedback purposes, for marketing and promotional purposes, for a statistical analysis of users’ behavior, for product development, for content improvement, and to customize content and layout of PurCo’s site].  Data on visitors’ home servers is aggregated for internal review and then discarded. 

Access and Ability to Correct Personal Data

Upon request via postal mail or e-mail, PurCo will provide to visitors a summary of any personal information retained by PurCo regarding the visitor.  Visitors may modify, correct, change, or update their personal information.  PurCo will only send personal records to the e-mail address on file for the visitor name associated with it.

Collection of Personal Data from Children

This site is not targeted to nor directed at children under 16. PurCo does not knowingly request or collect information from children under 16.

No Liability for Acts of Third Parties

Although PurCo will use all reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of the Registration Data, transmissions made by means of the Internet cannot be made absolutely secure.  PurCo will have no liability for disclosure of Registration Data due to errors in transmission or unauthorized acts of third parties.

Updates
